Steve Denyer's Q&A
1. Best gig ever?
It has to be a Madonna concert. First show I went to see was her Blonde Ambition tour in 1990 (the one with the pointy bras) Ive been to every single UK show since. I am to put it mildley "quite a big fan".
2. Which celeb would play the part of you in a movie of your life?
The most obvious celeb would be Tom Cruise as we are the same shape and size. However Id like someone a bit more interesting with a few more layers to portray me ;-) So can I go for Robert Downey Junior? Just seen the Sherlock Holmes movie and he is amazing.
3. What song gets you on the dancefloor?
I am a real sucker for those late 80s early 90s club classics. The ones that work every time and that everyone knows the words to. Strike U sure do, Bobby Brown 2 can play that game. Ooops thats 2! Sorry!
4. What song gets you on the karaoke mic?
I have never done karoake. I cant stand it!! I get really embarrassed for the person who is taking part. Ive never felt the need to prove to a whole room of people that I cant hold down a tune.
5. Favourite celebrity interview?
It has to be interviewing Beyonce with the Destinys Child girls. They were all so lovely and Beyonce even asked me to stand up and give her twirl as she liked my new jeans and Timberland boots. I felt such a legend (for 30 seconds)
6. Who is your favourite artist from a reality TV show?
It has to be one of the old Celebrity Big Brother contestants. Do you remember when John McCririck was put in the same house as Jackie Stallone. Night after night they rowed and it was fantastic viewing.
7. What is your favourite film soundtrack?
The Beach soundtrack. Perfect if your heading to a sunny, hot climate. Got Moby, All Saints and some really cool instrumental songs I cant remember the names of.
8. What's the first record you brought?
Well Id like to say it was a ground breaking, cool and very vintage bit of vinyl. However it was Kylie Minogue I should Be So Lucky. What can I say? I was a huge Neighbours fan.
9. Favourite reformed band?
Has to be Take That! I thought they were wicked back in the 90s but having seen them live recently and enjoyed playing all of their recent songs on Heart they simply cant be bettered.
10. Who would be your ultimate band?
My Ultimate Band would be called EGO. It consists of Madonna and Lady Gaga on vocals, Cyndi Lauper and Belinda Carlisle on backing vocals, Michael Bubble on Piano and JedWard as the backing dancers. Gary Barlow would write all the songs.
