Dune is one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. It’s a sci-fi epic that commonly divides audiences. However, many audiences seem to agree that Oscar Isaac’s performance is spectacular. The film is getting a plethora of awards attention. Nevertheless, Isaac recently joked that he had to attach Josh Brolin’s pubic hair onto his face for Dune. What is ‘Dune’ about? Dune is another feature adaptation of Frank Herbert’s classic novel by the same name.

Poor Things is a little Alice in Wonderland, a little Wizard of Oz, a little Marquis de Sade and a whole lot of Frankenstein. It also has a lot in common with some of Yorgos Lanthimos' earlier films, like The Favourite and Dogtooth: transgressive sex, sadistic power games and grisly violence. But if the movie is brutal, it's also extravagantly beautiful, extremely funny and, by the end, strangely touching, even uplifting.
