Thursday will see a shift in the audio landscape, as SiriusXM launches a major redesign and revamp of its app in a bid to grow beyond the radio dial and become a bigger player in the streaming audio space. Or, in other words, to attempt to compete more seriously with Spotify. Touted as “the next generation of SiriusXM” at a launch event last month, the new app is clearly intended to prioritize the company’s streaming experience and draw in younger users.

Redeem now A Las Vegas high school student died after playing at her school's flag football game.  Ashari Hughes,16, collapsed Thursday night after feeling chest pains.  She was given CPR by a nurse at the scene and sent to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.  A Las Vegas teen died while playing flag football at a school event, according to multiple news reports.  The 16-year-old, identified as a Desert Oasis High School student Ashari Hughes, was playing in a flag football game on Thursday when she started to have chest problems, her family told KVVU-TV.

Allison Williams and boyfriend Alexander Dreymon just made their red carpet debut! The pair stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of Williams' new film, M3GAN, on Wednesday night.  Williams and Dreymon were all smiles on the film's black carpet, with the Girls actress rocking a charcoal-colored sequined gown, and Dreymon opting for a black-striped suit, white dress shirt and black tie. Posing with his arm around his lady love, Dreymon also gave Williams several kisses on the cheek while posing for pics at the premiere.
