The death of singer Vicente Fernández — nicknamed "El Chente" — hit hard for Mexicans around the world, particularly for the older generation. For more than half a century, the mustachioed mariachi superstar belted out songs like Volver Volver, an anthem to lost love.
Director Robert Luketic’s thriller “Paranoia” has a host of problems, but the biggest seems to be that no one in it is nearly paranoid enough. This is a film in which titans of industry discuss nefarious world takeover schemes with the discretion of Bond villains, tech whizzes work on top-secret military projects in the middle of dive bars, and corporate henchmen chase targets through crowded restaurants with guns drawn to deliver messages most people would send via text.

Paramedics and firefighters attended the scene, with only a few people sustaining minor injuries. While all three emergency services were dealing with the incident scene, drivers on both carriageways were slowing down to see the damaged cars and casualties being treated.

It’s always weird playing against your former teammates. Especially if you had a super close relationship with them. Take the friendship between Chris Paul and Devin Booker for example. The two played together for three years with the Phoenix Suns. This 2023-24 season, however, Paul will be playing with the Golden State Warriors.  During their time together, both sang high praise of each other with Chris even saying that he sees himself in the younger star.
