The Mad Magazine TV Special. It was announced last week that after 67 years, the days of MAD magazine publishing new material each month will soon be no more. The tributes poured in immediately as fans, such as Weird Al, voiced their sadness. Even if you never read the magazine, you’ve no doubt felt its effects in some way, either through the numerous comedians and writers it has inspired over the years or through the two television series (MADtv and Cartoon Network’s Mad) that have carried the name.
Monica has certainly had a fulfilling musical career over the years. Contrarily, the R&B icon’s romantic relationships seem to have always been found wanting more. As a result, they have all eventually come to an end but not all hope is lost. Her last known relationship ended in 2019. Since then, the singer has mostly kept mute about developments in her love life. That is, of course, until recently when she subtly announced that she has a new man.
Maya Erskine and Michael Angarano are parents! The engaged couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Leon Frederick. The actress opened up about her pregnancy journey in a joint Vogue interview with PEN15 co-creator and co-star Anna Konkle. “I found out at Michael’s parents house in late July,” Erskine shared. "I told Anna once I went to the doctor to confirm, so I think that was August. I had told her that Michael and I were going to start trying and then told her in person, socially distanced at a park, and then told all our friends in the ocean as a wave overtook us—again, socially distanced at the beach.
What about Cory Matthews? Boy Meets World star, Danielle Fishel, is officially a married woman! The 37-year-old actress took to social media late Sunday night to share the news that she tied the knot with producer Jensen Karp.  “That’s Mrs. Karp to you,” Fishel captioned one stunning wedding portrait on Twitter.  Fishel shared another shot to Instagram, which showed off her gorgeous bridal gown, completely with sheer lace capped shoulders and a lengthy veil.
Fair organizers have been forced to apologize after a fire chief dressed as woman for a fundraising dunk tank and they then compared to Pennsylvania's transgender heath secretary.  Bloomsburg Fair Association shared pictures of fire chief of Main Township, David Broadt, taking part in the fundraiser and wrote: 'Dr. Levine? Thank you. You were a hit and raised a lot of money for the local fire companies. Wonder why so many were trying to dunk you?
